About This Blog

This is my record: fragments of life, traces of learning, observations of the world.

I write when emotions arise, and keep when understanding emerges; whether to publish depends on if the present me is willing to let the future me see it.

About Description

Perhaps it stems from a diary entry I wrote in high school:

Though it was bitterly cold today, I saw new buds on the ginkgo tree outside the window and felt immense joy. I watched snow and ice shards rise and fall in the wind and rain, landing on the earth, never to return to the sky and branches that don't belong to them. Yet under the New Year's sun, they slowly melt into water, returning to the tree's vessels, working anew—evaporating as vapor, generating oxygen through photosynthesis, continuing to return to the boundless world outside, nourishing the ginkgo's new buds. Perhaps I will be like that too. I dare not claim to be the water that nourishes all things, or the oxygen that benefits the ecosystem. I just feel adrift with no place to return, but the world will need me one day. Of course, being the sun that shines through all ages would also be wonderful. In this way, where the heart finds peace becomes my home, becoming my own inner sun, I continue walking forward with my own two arms.
